Account Deletion

This page is the external account deletion resource for Octidy users.

1. How to Request Deletion

You can request account deletion in either of these ways:

  • In-app: open User Settings and use Delete Account. The app will ask you to reauthenticate before deletion.
  • Outside the app (this page): email privacy@octidy.com with subject line Account Deletion Request.

If you want to delete specific data without deleting your full account, use Delete Data.

Important: in-app deletion requires that you first leave or delete all houses linked to your account.

2. Verification

To protect accounts, we verify deletion requests. Please send the request from the email address associated with your Octidy account. If needed, we may ask for additional verification information.

3. What We Delete

  • Your authentication account and user profile data in Octidy systems.
  • Direct account-linked records that can be removed safely under our data model.

4. What We May Keep

We may retain limited information where required for legal compliance, fraud and security prevention, dispute handling, or legitimate operational records.

5. Processing Timeline

After verification, we process deletion requests within 30 days.

6. If You Cannot Access the App

If you cannot sign in, you can still request deletion by emailing privacy@octidy.com and including any known account identifiers (for example, your account email).
